Katie provides an inclusive and empathetic space where clients can feel comfortable and open to sharing various struggles, issues, or difficulties. Her role as a therapist is collaborative and will help guide you in this process, and she strongly believes we are all individuals who view and seek change in many different forms.
Katie has experience working with adults with varying mental health needs and diagnoses, such as depression, anxiety, substance use, and bipolar disorder. Her practice interests include life transitions (having a baby, jobs, college, moving, etc.), postpartum depression/anxiety, maternal and women’s mental health, trauma, stress, relationships, coping skills, school issues, grief and loss. She is inclusive of all gender, sexual, and relationship identities.
Katie has a Master’s Degree in Social Work – Clinical Mental Health from the University of Minnesota. She enjoys several outdoor activities such as running, hiking, stand up paddleboarding, skiing, and exploring new places with friends and family.
Katie is being supervised by Dr. Carlo A. Giacomoni.
